Treading Through Streams and Wilderness, Embracing Nature | 2022 Malian Mountain Trekking Adventure

2022.05.30

Treading through streams and wilderness, embracing nature. On May 21, a group of outdoor-loving members from Turier Biotech gathered to measure the beauty of Malian Mountain with their steps, feeling the pure breath of the mountain forests, the joy of freedom along the way, and the exhilaration of sweat pouring down.

At 9 a.m., we set off lightly, full of anticipation, arriving at our destination—Malian Mountain Country Park. Our trekking journey would begin here.

The Waterfalls of Malian Mountain
Malian Mountain is said to be home to Shenzhen’s largest waterfall. Though its rocks vary in shape and its streams are crystal clear, it might seem ordinary compared to other grand waterfalls across the country. Yet, the dense mountain vegetation and wildflowers blooming everywhere lend this place a rare tranquility, a precious escape from the bustling city.

The Clear Streams of Malian Mountain
A clear stream flows gently from the mountain gully, its surface rippling softly, with pebbles visible at the bottom. In an instant, it transports you from the scorching heat into a cool and serene world.

The Shaded Path Up the Mountain
Walking along the mountain path, sunlight spills onto the stone-paved trail. The trek tests the agility of our teammates’ legs and feet. The trees lining the path grow lush and vigorous, their shade alleviating the fatigue of the summer hike.

The Summit of Malian Mountain Park
Reaching this point from the trailhead marks the summit, taking about three hours. Standing on the giant rocks at the peak, distant mountains appear like dark emerald, while the nearby slopes shimmer like gold. Layer upon layer of peaks roll like turbulent waves…

Going up is easier than coming down. Some parts of the mountain path are rugged. When tired, we sit and rest, listening to the murmuring streams winding through the woods like silver ribbons, and gazing at the reservoir, calm and unrippled, like a precious gem left by nature.

This Malian Mountain trek was a visual feast in the summer forest and a test of physical endurance and willpower. Only by breaking free from the confines of concrete and steel, getting close to nature, and listening to its symphony can one feel the fulfillment of life! This is the spirit of outdoor enthusiasts—never giving up, never abandoning, understanding sharing, and cherishing mutual support. Friendship, like aged fine wine, grows more intoxicating with every outdoor adventure!
